In order to make the access easier and enhance this development, thirteen accommodation professionals in the two departments crossed (Vaucluse and Alpes de Haute Provence), all in the neighbourhood of the cycling itinerary, decided to set up a project to host the territory and develop cycling-oriented services. |

2000 50 km Les Ocres en Vélo |
Inauguration of a loop on the theme of the ochres (project management by the Communauté de Communes du Pays d’Apt). Meetings organized by Vélo Loisir en Luberon made it possible to raise the awareness of the stakeholders in the Pays de Forcalquier – Montagne de Lure of the integrated development of a cycling planning on its territory. |

Vélo Loisir en Luberon was project manager with the technical support of the Pays de Forcalquier – Montagne de Lure et du Parc du Luberon. The enthusiasm of the local service providers enabled the publishing of promotional leaflets. The Parc du Luberon inaugurated the second stage of the "Autour du Luberon en vélo" circuit. Vélo Loisir spread to the southern Luberon. |

May 2004 The national Cycling track and Green Track scheme was involved in the territory of the Parc du Luberon where the cycling issue is already well under way. |
The members of Vélo Loisir offered their services to tourists interested in discovering the Luberon on off-the-beaten-track itineraries. Thanks to its experience, the association took part in brainstorming sessions on political orientations in regards to the development of a Green Track running through the Vaucluse and the Alpes de Haute Provence. |

Vélo Loisir with its 32 members and its partnerships with local authorities and also with Tourist Boards and Tourist Offices, increased its promotional actions. 22 notes on unsignposted loops recommended for cycling were available from the network and the partners on the territory. The association was now associated with various work meetings such as those of the "cycling" sector of the Vaucluse and the Alpes de Haute Provence Participation in a partnership with the Parc du Luberon for the elaboration of the "Le Luberon en vélo" Chamina guide |

35 tourism service providers made up the Vélo Loisir en Luberon network. The association was given the task of developing the "Les ocres en vélo" bilingual promotional leaflet by the Parc du Luberon and the Apt Tourist Office Vélo Loisir en Luberon set up an event team. |
| 2007 Continuation of the Calavon Cycle track towards Apt thanks to the building of a second bridge for gentle riding. Voting of the Regional Scheme of Cycle Tracks and Green Roads on 31st March 2007 by the Conseil Régional. |
Vélo Loisir was now comprised of 50 members with wineries and museums, ecomuseums and castles. 2 new notes on unsignposted loops were created in order to serve the new network members. For several years, Vélo Loisir has been conducting a business intelligence survey within its network. This year, the Parc Naturel Régional du Luberon conducted a survey of the cycling-based tourism attendance. A partnership will be set up to complete the figures collected. |
