Around the Luberon

Classified a regional nature park since 1977, the Luberon takes great care to preserve the quality of its natural areas and landscapes and does its utmost to enhance its rich architectural heritage.

A 236-kilometre itinerary, sign-posted in both directions, allows you to discover the resources of this most exceptional region. It takes you down roads chosen for the beauty of the sites and villages to be found along the way. Although these roads are little used, you have to share them with other users: we therefore recommend extreme caution, especially if there are children with you. Please respect the highway code. The hills characteristic of our landscape are often set off by steeper slopes. No need to worry, these climbs are usually fairly short: make the most of them and appreciate the excursion at a slower pace. Finally, don't forget the sun and the heat, especially in summer; bring water, a hat, sunglasses, sun block, first aid kit and when it gets hot, enjoy the cool shade on the terrace of a café.
